South Street Funding
When we first met with The South Street Group in Davidson, NC they were using Website Tonight from GoDaddy which is a template based hosting package. They had quickly recognized the limitations of this template based solution and reached out to us for a more dynamic option. The South Street Group has two companies, South Street Funding and South Street Mortgage. They opted to have separate websites for each company. We created a design that could be used for both sites with each relying on different colors for easy identification. The sites are brother and sister but not twins.
South Street Funding specializes in hard money lending which is not a concept most people are familiar with. We added a rotation of quick ads to the top of the home page to quickly communicate what South Street Funding has to offer. It was also important to bring attention to their online application, the ability for their existing customers to Request a Draw on their loan, the fact that they allow their customers to pay online, along with the available properties that they are selling. The online application is integrated with the mortgage applications that they receive. The Request a Draw was a custom for that we developed for them which is designed for borrowers to identify what they will be using the money for and how they would like to receive the funds. The Pay Online option is an extension of our online giving module and is integrated with Authorize.net to allow borrowers to pay down their loans. The Available Properties is an easy way for South Street to add photos and property details for homes they are selling themselves.
It was important for both South Street Funding and South Street Mortgage to have a Latest News section to keep their customers informed. A natural extension of this was a sign-up form for their email based newsletter which uses the services provided by aWeber.com. Both sites also incorporated our testimony module which allows customer quotes to randomly appear at the bottom of each page.
At the top of each page, both sites highlight the services of the other company. If a site visitor selects this prominent link they will be notified one companies site and going to another. It was important to add this transition since the two sites represent two companies with different services and products.
